A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Ardmore Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those search entries on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Routine hosting logs may contain an IP address, browser information, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review that material in aggregate for operations and to understand which references are used. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where relevant, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use limited data to operate the service, diagnose issues, measure overall use, and improve the reference material. We do not sell a list of visitors or create profiles of individual users.
External Services and Portals
Links may lead to the Carter County records search, Ardmore Open Records, the Ardmore Library genealogy collection, and third-party search services. Their own privacy terms apply to information submitted after leaving this service. The same is true of sponsored results supplied by another company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers process ordinary server logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic technical data described above. We disclose information only when valid legal process requires it.
Security Practices
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. Because there are no accounts, the service does not hold a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has sent information so it can be removed.
Requests About Your Data
You may ask about personal data this service holds by using the Contact page. Since only limited contact and log information is kept, requests usually concern those records. Oklahoma public-agency privacy rules include the Personal Privacy Protection Act, Title 51 §50, and agency PII notices under 74 O.S. §3106.4. Those provisions govern public agencies, not this private reference. For a public record held by an Oklahoma, Carter County, or City of Ardmore custodian, contact that custodian directly.
